Panel Beds - Metropolitan Series

The Metropolitan Series uses a panel bed frame and mechanism. This mechanism is attached to the inside of the cabinet side panels. The bed frame pivots up and down with the back of the cabinet door attached to the frame.  

Below you will see how pulling on the door handles tilts the bed out and down. After the bed is pulled partly down, the leg assembly is swiveled down into place and the bed continues to be lowered to the floor.

The panel bed does not require a foundation because the back side of the bed door acts as the foundation when in use.  

All bed sizes (except King) are available including extra long. Panel Beds are safe and dependable for commercial and residential use.

Any standard mattress of 9" thick or less can be used. Deeper mattresses require a deeper bed cabinet, which is available from Commercial Wall Bed Systems.
